KitchenAid 36 Inch Electric Cooktop 5-Element Radiant Cooktop

KitchenAid 36 Inch Electric Cooktop combines five radiant cooking elements with a smooth black glass surface and front knob controls. In addition, different element sizes provide flexible cooking space for a range of compatible cookware.

Five Radiant Elements

Five radiant elements provide separate cooking areas across the 36-inch surface. Therefore, users can prepare several dishes at the same time.

In addition, the element layout includes standard, dual, and triple cooking areas.

Triple-Ring Element

The left rear element offers three selectable sizes: 12 inches, 9 inches, and 6 inches. Its listed power levels are 3,000W, 2,200W, and 1,100W.

Therefore, users can select an element size that better matches their cookware.

Dual Cooking Element

The right front element offers 10-inch and 6-inch heating areas. In addition, its listed maximum power reaches 3,200W.

As a result, this element provides flexibility for larger and smaller cookware.

Even-Heat Element

The left front 6-inch element provides 1,300W of power. The supplied specifications identify it as an Even-Heat element.

Therefore, it provides another cooking option for suitable smaller cookware.

Center Rear Element

The center rear element measures 8 inches and provides 1,800W. As a result, it adds another useful cooking area to the five-element layout.

Users can select this element for compatible cookware and cooking tasks.

Right Rear Element

The right rear element measures 6 inches and provides 1,200W. Therefore, it offers a smaller cooking area for suitable pots and pans.

Together, the five elements provide several size and power options.

Black Glass Surface

The cooktop uses a black glass cooking surface. In addition, its smooth design creates a clean built-in appearance.

Allow the surface to cool before cleaning it after use.

Front Knob Controls

Metal control knobs sit along the front of the cooktop. Therefore, users can adjust each cooking element from the front control area.

The five-knob layout also matches the supplied product image.

Surface Indicators

The cooktop includes a heating-element indicator light and a hot-surface indicator light. Therefore, users receive visual information about the cooking surface.

Always allow hot areas to cool before touching or cleaning them.

Built-In Installation

The cooktop measures 36-5/16 inches wide, 21-3/4 inches deep, and 5-1/4 inches high.

In addition, the supplied specifications list a cutout width of approximately 34-9/16 inches and a cutout depth of approximately 20-3/8 inches. Check the installation space before fitting the appliance.
