Costway Propane Fire Column provides a 30,000 BTU heat output for outdoor spaces. It combines a tall column body with a top fire bowl and stainless steel burner. In addition, the unit holds a standard 20 lb propane tank inside the column.
30000 BTU Heat Output
The fire column provides a listed heat output of 30,000 BTUs. Therefore, it creates an open flame for suitable outdoor areas.
The unit uses propane as its fuel source. In addition, the internal tank area fits a standard 20 lb propane tank.
Propane Tank Storage
A door in the column provides access to the propane tank area. As a result, users can install or remove the tank when needed.
The enclosed design also keeps the tank inside the main column. However, users should always follow the setup instructions when connecting propane.
Ignition Controls
The Costway Propane Fire Column includes an ignition panel with a control knob and ignition button. Therefore, users can operate the burner from the front panel.
The ignition system requires one AAA battery. However, the supplied product information states that the battery is not included.
Steel Frame
A heavy-duty steel frame forms the main structure of the column. In addition, natural ore powder covers the outer surface.
The top section includes a metal fire bowl and stainless steel burner. Moreover, adjustable footpads help users position the unit on a suitable surface.
Lava Rocks
The fire bowl includes lava rocks around the burner area. These rocks add a finished look around the flame.
However, do not completely cover the burner with lava rocks. Also, keep the rocks dry and follow the brand instructions before lighting the fire.
Protective Cover
A PVC cover comes with the fire column for storage protection when the unit is not in use. Therefore, users can cover the product after it has fully cooled.
Never place the cover over a hot burner or fire bowl. In addition, follow the care instructions when storing the unit outdoors.
Outdoor Design
The fire column measures 20 inches long, 20 inches wide, and 48 inches high. Its listed weight is 77 pounds.
The tall column shape suits suitable outdoor spaces such as patios, decks, and backyards. However, users must follow proper clearance and ventilation rules.
